Jammu: Two alleged accused namely Anand Dutta & Deepak Khajuria filed petition in the State High Court seeking CBI probe.
Adv Veenu Gupta who filed petition in the High Court seeking the direction to respondents to get the investigation of case FIR No. 10/2018 registered with Police Station, Hiranagar District Kathua conducted through Central Bureau of Investigation in reference whereof a charge sheet No.4 dated 09.04.2018 has been filed by the Crime Branch and is presently pending trial in the court of Sessions Judge, Kathua.
In the petition it has been submitted that under the garb of investigation the real motive is to provide illegal protection to the encroachment of the Government land by nomadic community where some people of the community are acting on behalf of the land mafia to encroach government land.
It is further submitted that a situation has been put to an advantageous position for Kashmiri Separatists who have successfully divided the Jammu on communal lines and tainted investigation by the Crime Branch has played a major role in creating wedge in two communities in Jammu Division which has not happened for last seven decades despite efforts by Separatist forces.
In the petition, petitioners seeking fair investigation are the basis for fair justice and fair investigation has been denied to the persons including the petitioners who have been wrongly and falsely implicated in the aforesaid case.
