SRINAGAR: On the occasion of 76th Independence day, BJP’s general secretary organization Ashok Koul along on Monday unfurled the national flag at party headquarters in Srinagar.Adresing the party workers atthe event, he said that the celebrations this year are so special as Independence Day falls in the 75th year of Independence, being celebrated as ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ across the country.
He said that today the entire Kashmir has been painted in the color of tricolor and people are celebrating it like a festival and the procession was seen today. It was a completely different and people waved the tricolor in their homes with great enthusiasm.
Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi-led government for taking brave decisions during his tenure. “In the last Eight years, PM Modi’s government did a commendable job. We have seen massive development in Jammu and Kashmir The efforts and initiative taken by the PM Modi’s government executed the vision of Modi which is globally applauded” said Koul.
