    MLC Vibodh urges Rajouri BJP IT cell to promote digital literacy

     Rajouri: In a bid to strengthen BJP’s hold in social media platforms, Senior BJP Leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today hosted a meeting of Information and technology cell of BJP Rajouri unit. He reviewed the performance of IT cell and also planned future activities to excel party foothold through social media platforms.

    While addressing the BJP Rajouri IT Cell, Vibodh asked them to focus on the right usage of social media in order to apprise people about various government sponsored schemes and guide people about “How to avail benefits from these schemes?”

    He said Honourable PM Narendra Modi gave the vision of Digital India to transform India through the power of Information and technology and transparency. BJP IT cells across the nation is working day and night to realise Modi’s dream of Digital India and cashless economy, he added. He asked Rajouri BJP IT cell to work on the same line and contribute in nation building. He further asked them to promote digital literacy in Rajouri District using social media platforms and forums.

    He asked them to remain in touch with social media users through regular interaction and healthy discussions. We must avoid from getting involved into unnecessary and unhealthy debates while using social media and concentrate on answering the queries of general public on any government related issue, Vibodh added. He asked them to highlight the achievements of the four years of Modi government.

    Vibodh said that the number of people using social media is quite large and therefore the role of IT cell to strengthen party has become paramount. He stressed on the need to disperse information regarding the party and its core ideology. Such positive efforts will bring more people into the party fold, he asserted.  He also asked them to confirm the contents from all possible sources before posting them online to maintain the credibility of Party. He suggested them to explore all social media platforms, represent party on all fronts and become “social media warriors”. In the present world social media is a great tool in our hands and all of us know, how to use this positively and effectively, Vibodh asserted.

    The prominent BJP leaders who attended the meeting were District Vice President Kamal Bakshi, Kissan Morcha District President Rakesh Raina, Adishwer Mahajan, Shivam Sharma, Abhi Dutta, Nater Khajuria, Aftab Anjum.
