Jammu: The General Administration Department today late night updated the exact status of KAS officer Sonu Pargal on its web site.

Now instead of ACR Udhampur, Pargal current status was updated as under suspension.

It’s worth to mention here that Sonu Pargal was suspended by GAD after he was booked by ACB on 29 Jan, 2018 in Rs 1 crore bribe acceptance case.

But the suspension of said accused officer who holds a grit in the administration and political echelons remains a top secret . For nearly two months, the GAD  never uploaded order regarding his suspension on its website besides prefer to show him as ACR Udhampur, the post which he was relinquished on Feb 5, 2019.

The GAD has broken it’s silence on Pargals’s status after JKGN exposed the secret which was kept under carpet by some officials of GAD.
