JAMMU: Demanding concrete relief for the parents of school going childrens, the Jammu Muslism Front has urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to issue order on the pattern of Gujarat government thereby restricting the private schools from charging hectic accumulated fees for the lockdown period.

Stating that people friendly initiative is the need of the hour as lockdown has caused immense financial loss and agony to the public especially middle class, the JMF president Qazi Imarn said that before taking decision to wave off  tution fees, the education department need to keep in account the interest of the parents.

The administration should refrain from working to extend favour to the private school management who are habitual of fleecing the gullible parents on account of exorbitant fees, asserted Qazi.

He alleged that the authority is trying to favour the management of private schools which is evident from the fact that so far no serious exercise have been initiated to designed way and means to exempt the parents from paying tution fees for the lockdown period, avers Tanvir Wani, Vice President JMF.

Mohd Sadiq, General Secretary have also appealed the LG to provide relief to the effected parents by waving off school fees for the lockdown period.
