BARAMULLA: Ensuring all possible help to wards of deceased  cops in attaining hurdle free education especially amid prevailing pandemic, DIG North Kashmir Range, Sujit Kumar Chauhan has donated smart phone to widow of  SPO to facilitate their online classes.

This initiative was taken as soon as the matter was brought into notice of Police about the problem being faced by the two children of expired SPOs in attending to online classes on account of non availability of android phone.

At one hand it was obvious that apart from ROTI , KAPDA AUR MAKAAN , smart phone and it’s data has become the basic necessity of life, Chauhan avers in a social media platform.

“And on the other, how many of us are still deprived of it ? How can we help those unprivileged children who are still deprived of online classes due to not being capable to afford this basic necessity ?, he added.

A new smart phone was immediately delivered to the mother of two children studying in Police Public School Baramulla ,so that her children can attend to the online class.
