Jammu: A doctor has been arrested by Kathua police allegedly for “raping” a lady officer.
Reliable sources in police said that Police Station Women Cell Gandhi Nagar received a complaint from one lady who pressed charges of rape against a doctor posted in Government Medical College, Kathua. The accused repeatedly “raped” the “victim” after assuring fake promise of marriage.
Consequently, the police arrested the medico, a resident of District Samba and FIR Number 05/2022 under Sections 376, 417, 506, 468, 198 and 109 IPC has been registered at Police Station Women Cell Gandhi Nagar and investigation set into motion.
