JAMMU : Further tightening noose against the land grabbers, the Jammu Development Authority on Tuesday conducted a major anti-encroachment drive in village Keran and Paloura of tehsil Jammu North.

The JDA team led by its Tehsildar North Ranjeet Singh with the assistance of police and Revenue department demolished several tin sheds and juggies raised after encroaching upon JDA land. The drive successfully retrieved 5 kanals of land from the possession of land grabbers and installed sign boards on it.

The drive was launched under the control of Director Land Management JDA, Vivek Modi and overall supervision of Vice Chairman JDA, Pankaj Magotra.

In a stern warning to the miscreants and habitual land grabbers, the JDA said that those indulging and encouraging encroachment of land will face music of law.
