    PS Nagrota foils bid to smuggle bovine animals, 2 arrested

    JAMMU: Tightening its noose around bovine smugglers, police team of Nagrota police station has rescued 10 bovine animals during checking at a naka. One Truck bearing registration number JK03G-7668 seized in this connection.

    In this regard Case FIR No. 270/2022 U/S 188/34 IPC,11 PCA Act,50/52/54/56 transportation of animals rules 1978 got registered at P/S Nagrota and two accused got arrested.

    The accused arrested have been identified as Mujamil S/o Mohd Akram R/o Bitangoo Kulgam, by PS Akhnoor and Abdul Rashid Sher Gojri S/o Abdul Razak R/o Bijbhera Anantnag, by PS Akhnoor.

    The overall arrests and recoveries were made by SHO P/S Nagrota Inspr. Vishav Partap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar.
