Tomorrow is going to be a “Bandh” in Jammu on the call of Chamber of Commerce and Industries assisted by small time as also insignificant political outfits against the property tax which has made a microscopic attention seeking minority terribly jittery. Now, they are all out to turn the tables on Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Manoj Sinha’s dispensation that is burning midnight oil to reverse the wrongs of the previous Wazwaan dispensations of various political parties who ruthlessly exploited the lesser folk in erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir to remain snuggled in the seat of power. Rest is history.
The reformist agenda of LG’s administration is not to the liking of a few self styled leaders for whom prosperity of self matters more than the well being of down and out who are guinea pigs in the hands of inexperienced and raw political leaders with almost negligible following. Anyhow, they have become a headache for the administration as it has been noticed that post the abrogation of Article 370, a couple of facebook news portals as well as street political vendors are hell bent to inject uncalled for venom in the minds of JK residents especially Jammuites who have become a focus of stage managed protests. This is all happening to make believe the gullible people of Duggar land that every sincere endeavor of Sinha’s administration is further going to compound their problems which are basically the making of unemployed political leaders who have been deprived of loaves and fishes. It is very difficult to remain out of the Jalwa of power that has an intoxication of its own.
Observing the trend of these self styled street leaders and news portals who are adding fuel to the fire by projecting the uncalled protests against JKSSB for roping in one particular private recruitment agency for conduct of CBT test for selection of candidates to various non gazetted posts. It is imperative for the administration to activate their security apparatus to identify their game plan which is detrimental for the overall well being of J&K. There is no denying the fact that geopolitically, the J&K is an eyesore for our neighboring countries too. Thus, there is every possibility that money through various routes is pouring to destabilize the sincere efforts of both the centre and UT administration which needs serious activation of our security agencies.
The newly born Union Territory of J&K is very close to the heart of PMO and whatever is being implemented by LG Sinha has the tacit consent of Prime Minsiter Shri Narendra Modi who is serious about decimating all the traces of militancy and introducing scores of development initiatives through a transparent and accountable mode which is not digestible to a section of redundant bureaucrats as well as the sidelined political bosses who enjoyed the spoils of power in the previous dispensations.
Post article 370 removal, it has become a daily routine for some street level leaders as well as news portals to paint even sensible acts of LG government in a bad light without any rhyme and reason. Act fast before more damage is done.
