    Crime Branch booked KAS officer for fraud in relief scam

    JAMMU : Crime Branch Jammu has registered a case against one female KAS officer namely Neha Kashyap Pandita and her sister for drawing relief meant for the Kashmiri migrants despite being the government servants.

    A FIR has been registered against a total of four accused including the KAS officer, government teacher and their parents under Sections 420 and 12-B RPC.

    Neha Kashyap Pandita , KAS has also served as Camp Commander Jagti for almost a year whereas her sister Meenakshi Pandita is serving as a Government teacher in the Kashmir valley.
    The Relief Commissioner in a written communication to the Crime Branch in response to a query has confirmed that all four family members have drawn relief meant for the Kashmiri migrants and were not entitled to the relief.
