    LG administration terminates delinquent teacher

    JAMMU: Acting tough against delinquent government employees, the LG administration has terminated a teacher posted in Govt Higher Secondary School, Mohri Gursai in Poonch for unauthorized absence from duty.

    As per the order issued by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu on Wednesday, a 2014 appointee in GHSS Mohri Gursai, Nishat Firdous had availed commute, half pay, extraordinary leave and remained absent in between.

    “Keeping in view the continuous unauthorised absence of more than five years, her services are hereby terminated from the date she remained un-authorizedly absent in terms of article 113 and 128 of J&K Civil Services Regularisations 1956, ” the order reads.
