Uttar Pradesh: After BJP MLA Kuldeep Senger, another party legislator from Uttar Pradesh has been accused of raping his maid’s daughter on the pretext of marrying her.
In a complaint to Bareilly SSP Kalanidhi Naithani, the victim has claimed that Kushagra Sagar, the MLA from Bisauli Assembly constituency in Badayun district, had raped her when she was minor.
“I will commit suicide if I don’t get justice. I have been receiving threats as well and have become a subject of ridicule in society,” the victim said.
According to reports, she filed a complaint against Sagar when she got to know that he is going to get married on June 17.
A woman has also claimed that the accused father and former MLA Yogendra Sagar had assured her that he would get his son married to her. However, she was later offered Rs 20 lakh to settle the matter
The woman said that the MLA raped her several times on the pretext of marriage, and she will not let his wedding happen.
Police have begun the investigation. SSP Naithani said circle officer Niti Dwivedi is probing the matter.
Last month, police arrested Kuldeep Senger after a woman accused him of rape in June last year. Currently, he is lodged in Sitapur District Jail.
