    Castigating CM, NPP vows to protect rights of working women force in state

    Udhampur: Extending party support to the agitating women work force, Jagdev Singh Jagga District Youth President Panthers Party questioned the state coalition government for its silence on the demand of Anganwadi helpers/workers in state. Large numbers of Anganwadi workers have launched protest demonstration at district level in state from past several months and government failed to address the genuine issues of agitators, regretted Jagga.

    Addressing the agitating Anganwadi workers at DC office Udhampur, NPP District Youth President extended full support from the party for their genuine demands. He blamed that govt has failed to listen and address the demands of agitating Anganwadi workers/helpers who are continuously protesting for their rights from last three months.

    He said that NPP has supported the protest demonstration of Anganwadi helpers at Rajouri, Poonch, Pouni, Reasi, Kathua, Jammu under the leadership of State President NPP Balwant Singh Mankotia & NPP president personally joined the protest dharna of women work force and even highlighted the issue on 22nd March with Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufi while submitting the memorandum by Panthers Party under the leadership of Chairman Harsh Dev Singh & President Balwant Singh Mankotia.

    Unfortunately, being woman Chief Minister she has failed to address the plight of agitating anganwadi workers/helper in state and large number of women work force are agitating for their genuine right, regretted Jagga.

    Making a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narinder Modi for raising the slogan of Beti Padao, Beti Bachao and on other hand daughters/sister are working without pay for the government and forced to come on roads for their right, claimed Jagga.

    He warned that if govt fails to address the genuine issue of anganwadi workers/helper soon, party would launch a mass movement in favour of agitating women work force in state. Large no of Party leaders also joined the agitating Anganwadi workers.
