    CID wing of JKP launches complaints Portal

    JAMMU: To enable the citizens to report any unlawful activities in their surrounding instantly without any hurdles, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) wing of Jammu & Kashmir Police has launched a portal. The citizens can access the portal at the URL: https://cid.jk.gov.in

    Managed end to end  by the cyber savy experts in CID, the portal launched with an aim to contain crime and strengthening the peace and security in Jammu & Kashmir.

    Utilising this portal, the citizens can freely report information about criminal, unlawful or suspicious activities in their neighborhood by confiding their identity.

    Utilising services of this portal, the responsible citizens can report any attempt of intimidation they came across through telephone, watsapp, text messages, voice mails etc.

    The optimum use of the portal is expected to play a significant role in policing their neighborhood and contribute towards building a safer society.
