    Cops nab drug trader of Raghooda with 14 gram heroine

    Jammu: To tighten its grip on uncontrolled sale and consumption of drug in Jammu region where area like Raghooda, Sidhara and Samba  have fast becoming safe heaven for drug cartels, the Jammu Police have successfully arrested one drug peddler and recovered 14 grams of heroin at Bahu plaza near JK Bank in the jurisdiction of Trikuta Nagar police station.

    As per reports, police team of PS Trikuta Nagar led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali on routine naka checking signalled a suspect for checking. On search 14 grams of heroin was recovered from him. The suspect has been identified as Faryad Ali S/o Ab Hamid R/o Palperd Raghooda, Sidhara- place notorious for parking and sale of drugs in Jammu city.

    He was booked in case FIR No 191/2022 u/s 8/21/22/NDPS Act at PS Trikuta Nagar.The whole operation was done under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari.
