Jammu: Khilafwarzi Inspector namely Rattan Magotra these days busy collecting money on the name of JMC Commissioner Pankaj Magotra from violators for turning Nelson eye towards the illegal residential as well as commercial structures in Gujjar Nagar, Prem Nagar, Karan Nagar and palace road.
Recently, the said inspector who was primarily entrusted with the job of identifying unauthorised constructions and brought the same into the notice of their superiors for penalizing the defaulters instead start settling the illegal constructions to fill its own pockets.
This corrupt practice though turn the concerned Khilafwarzi Inspector richer day by day however, causing huge financial loss to the revenue of JMC.
Flaunting his close proximity with Commissioner JMC and some higher ups in Anti Corruption Bureau this self styled King of illegal constructions always flaunt of immunity for his illegal deeds on grounds of his close proximity with superiors in civil secretariat.
As per reports, recently a commercial structure was raised on roadside in Prem Nagar adjoining St Peter’s Nursery School with the help of concerned Khilafwarzi Inspector namely Rattan Magotra.
However, when JKGN enquired about this illegal construction from khilKhilafw inspector he put the blame on local corporator namely Ritu Choudhary.
Interestingly, when our team contact the corporator she said ” This Khilafwarzi Inspector has took money from the defaulters to legitimized their illegal constructions”
While sharing the details of number of illegal constructions which are going on in connivance with Rattan Magotra, she further said ” Had he act as per his duty, the JMC revenue has reached new heights in earnings” But, unfortunately these corrupt leeches are engulfing everything coming in there way, she added.
