UDHAMPUR: Three days course on “Human Trafficking” culminated in S.K. Police Academy Udhampur. Thirteen Police officers from all over the state attended the training programme. Vinay Kumar, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Administration) S.K Police Academy Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion of valediction.
During his valedictory address Vinay Kumar invariably expressed the importance of learning legal provision to deal with Human Trafficking, Child Trafficking, Forced labour, Sex trade etc. which is the one of the emerging challenge to the Security Forces. The increased frequency of Crimes in Human Trafficking requires that police personnels need to equip themselves with necessary skills to tackle this ever increasing menace. Academicians and various units of J&K Police had delivered lectures to the course participants on different topics.
Vinay Kumar SSP, congratulated the Academy faculty for making necessary arrangements to ensure successful completion of the training programme. The certificates of participation were also given away by the Dy. Director (Admn.) SKPA Udhampur and his team. The audience was informed that organising such courses is the vision of our DGP and unrelenting efforts of Director SKPA, Udhampur. The valediction was also attended by the officers of the Academy.
