    Gandhi Nagar Hospital CCTV catches serial burglar

    Jammu: Unidentified person has been caught in CCTV of Gandhi Nagar Hospital while allegdly stealing staff belongings.

    As per available reports, today a staff nurse of the hospital complained about theft of a mobile. Immediately, the hospital authority swung into action and analysed the CCTV footage of the premises where the victim was performing duty. On scanning the footage, they notice movement of a suspicious person who was seen stealing the mobile phone of victim nurse. 

    Later, the hospital authority handed over the footage of CCTV with a formal complaint to Gandhi Nagar police station for FIR and identification of the said burglar for necessary action.

    Dr Ashwdev Singh Manhas, Medical Supertendent of Gandhi Nagar Hospital while confirming the incident said” We have formally lodged a complaint and handed over the CCTV  footage containing the suspected thief” Hopefully, the police identified the suspicious person in the footage and solve the mystery behind cases of thefts that took place in hospital in the past few days, added Dr Manhas.

    Sources in the hospital, however pointed involvement of some insiders who are hell bend to tarnish the image of the hospital for achieving ulterior motives. ” There are some specific persons who are not happy with the streamline functioning of the hosiptal that has transformed the patients care in the hospital upto the expectations of the citizens” added sources. If police acts tough with the help of this CCTV footage, those who hatched the conspiracy to defame the hospital will be unmasked, sources further added.

    On being contacted, SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Sunil Jasrotia said ” We have identified the burglar in CCTV footage and are on job to nab him. ” Indeed, he will be subjected to questioning to ascertain his role in other cases of thefts which took place in hospital premises” he added.
