The expose’ of brothel allegedly run by one POCSO accused Swarna is an eye opener. The accused is known for enjoying a strong clout of blacksheep allegedly in police, Judicial system, politicians, media and civil administration. The rescued minor girls have been exploited to the hilt and indeed there are many more. The LG administration should order constitution of SIT to unveil the dark web of notorious accused woman.
JAMMU : The perpetrators of crime cannot succeed in their nefarious designs unless they are blessed by those entrsuted with the responsibility of implementing rule of law in all earnestness.
However, the opposite has happened in a small hamlet Qasim Nagar established right under the foothills of the presiding deity of the city of temples in Bahu Fort area.
Last year the accused woman was booked in FIR No 0088 dated 10/09/2022 u/s 3,4,5,7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 382, 341,323,504,506 of IPC .
Strange enough, till date the statement of the complainant u/s 164 in above cited FIR could not be got recorded despite a lapse of six months which reflects the ugly clout of Swarna with cops.
Reliable sources maintained that still there are many blacksheep posted in Bagh e Bahu police station who are very benevolent towards the POCSO accused Swarna and her brigade.
Shockingly, mocking law enforcement agencies she manged to roam freely immediately after being booked under PITA last year which raises serious question mark on those officers/officials handling a sensitive case at that time, said aggrieved residents of Qasim Nagar.
We recorded our statements before the police against brothel of Swarna in the above mentioned FIR but felt dejected when the then SHO Inspector Sikander Singh Chouhan failed to tame flamboyant Swarma strictly as per the provisions of PITA, said Rohit Sharma.
Now, the notorious Swarna has been booked under POCSO Act, but I have an apprehension that she may again manage an escape route if the current investigators don’t do their home work properly and she succeeds in her maneuvers by hook or crook as she is a past master in the same, said renowned social activist, Prof SK Bhalla.
For the last more than a decade, one Swarna wife of Ashok Sharma was openly running her den of flesh trade at House No 197 but everyone who manned Bagh e Bahu Police Station allegedly turned a Nelson’s eye towards her trade of shame despite the loud hue and cry of the residents of the area.
Not only Swarna, but two more brothels are operating, one behind Government High School, Qasim Nagar and the second, operational near Sulabh Toilet complex in the same vicnity.
All these brothels are running for past more than a decade and now also involved in sale of drugs which has eroded the credibility of those who remained posted at the concerned police station in the past, said Shabnam Nahid.
