    Govt sacks 4 officers for terror links

    SRINAGAR : Invoking Article 311 of the Constitution of India, the LG administration on Saturday terminated services of four officers.

    Those dismissed are Assaba-ul-Arjumand Khan (KAS) wife of militant Farooq Dar alias Bitta Karate, Syed Abdul Mueed ( Manager, IT, Jammu Kashmir Entrepreneur Development Institute (JKEDI) son of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin who is fugitive in Pakistan,  Dr. Muheet Ahmad Bhat, Scientist-D in the Post-Graduate Department of Computer Science, University of Kashmir and Majid Hussain Qadri, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, University of Kashmir.

     

    The activities of these employees had come to the adverse notice of law enforcement and intelligence agencies, as they have been found involved in activities prejudicial to the interests of the security of the State,” government spokesperson said.

    The dismissal of these employees was initiated on the dossiers of high level committee which was constituted by the government on July 30, 2020 for scrutiny of all those employees whose activities found adverse by law enforcement and intelligence agencies, as they have been found involved in activities prejudicial to the interests of the State.
