JAMMU: The Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Raghav Langer has initiated process for action pertaining to those Patwaris of Revenue Department who are working outside their parent districts.
In this connection, letter No -101/3286/21/1156-65 dated 7/6/2021 has urged upon all the District Commissioners of Jammu districts to treat the matter as most urgent and verify the details of Patwaris enclosed pertaining to their posting outside parent district.
It’s worth to mentioned here that on June 7, 2021, JK Global News has carried a news items regarding the posting of nearly 9 Patwaris on inter district basis who are continuing to manage their stay in the JDA for several years in violation of rules.
There are serious allegations of corruption against some of them and several complainants are pending against them in ACB, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and Financial Commissioner office.
