JAMMU: In continuation to the drive against drug menace and to eliminate the problem of drug abuse from Jammu,today Jammu Police achieved success by recovering 21 Gms of heroin from two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of PS Janipur.
Special naka was laid by police team of PS Janipur under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar whereby police team of PS Janipur led by SHO PS Janipur Inspr. Nayat Ali rounded up two suspects ho tried to hide themselves on seeing police naka, later identified as Mohinder Lal S/o Tarsam Lal R/o Banagarh Mirna sahib and Aman Jamwal S/o Jagdish Singh R/o Subash Nagar Jammu. On search, 21 Gms of heroin was recovered from their illegal possession.
On this, Case FIR 107/2021 u/s 8/21/22 /NDPS Act got registered at P/S Janipur and accused got arrested. It’s pertinent to mention that Mohinder Lal is already involved in 3 cases of 307 /RPC at Satwari, RS Pura,Bishnah and one Case of Murder 302/RPC at Mirna sahib.
