JAMMU: In a swift action, the Controller, Department of Legal Metrology has placed under suspension official namely Yougal Kishore who in a sting operation was demanding and accepting commission for calibration of oil tankers from owner of JK Calibration.
As per order No 03-LMJ of 2021 dated 15/9/2021, the Controller LMD places under suspension the class 4th employee of Deputy Controller, Jammu (SS labs, taxi meters, lorries and tankers) pending enquiry for his misconduct/unethical practices.
