Samba: With Jammu region having experienced the worst era of neglect and deprivation during the present regime, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister said that Panthers Party has assured the challenge to fight out all bias and prejudicial treatment doled out to the region at all costs. He was addressing huge public meetings held in Manwal and Samba today.
While addressing the gatherings, Harsh Dev Singh vociferously asserted that JKNPP had emerged as a sole voice of Dogras in the wake of people reposing faith in the party following the political decimation of the BJP from Jammu Pradesh. “Panthers party is the lone crusader for Jammu cause and bound to restore the pristine glory of the Duggar land which has been dented by the Saffron Party for its vested petty political interests during their ominous rule in the past three years”
While addressing newly inducted youth in the party fold, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister said that the Jammu youth had been ruthlessly divested of their due share in the employment. He said that the young fraternity had united under the banner of Panthers Party and shall no longer reconcile with the second class status.
He divulged that the regional bias in selections by the recruiting agencies and the harassment of the underemployed had caused a severe embitterment among the youth of Jammu which could explode anytime and prove fatal for the ominous dispensation. Singh flayed the callous attitude of the dispensation towards the highly qualified young contractual lecturers of Schools, Colleges and Polytechnics who included majority of female candidates were also the victims of exploitation while working on paltry salaries for years.
He further maintained that the NRHM employees, Anganwari/ ASHA workers, SPOs, Home Guards besides RETs, Teachers and Masters engaged under SSA and RMSA had been protesting on roads for their genuine demands of regularization and release of pending salaries unpaid for months together. Wondering over the slogans of ‘Achey Din’ and ‘Beti bachao, Beti Padhao’ sold by the Saffron brigade with a big splash, he said that thousand of crores of rupees had been incurred thereof while the daughters of the soil were tormented and left in lurch under the open skies. While demanding revocation of SRO 202 and amendments in SRO 520, he said that underemployed youth were treated like ‘throw aways’ by the present regime and their future was put into jeopardy by the Saffron flavoured dispensation.
Dubbing the State government’s announcement of premiums and doles to the subversives in the valley as highly obnoxious and insane, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Yashpaul Kundal lamented that the ruffians, vandals, hooligans and illiterates were glorified in Kashmir while the highly educated nationalist youth of Jammu region were discriminated, exploited, suppressed and quelled. They asserted that Panthers party shall avenge all the betrayals of the BJP which had colluded with PDP to rehabilitate the surrendered militants and stone pelters in Kashmir, provide jobs and compensation to NOKs of deceased anti- national elements, appease secessionist forces in the valley and show aversion towards the nationalists and the patriots. On the occasion, 30 youth left PDP and joined Panthers Party.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Shivcharan Singh, Gagan Pratap Singh, Robin Sharma, Parshotam Parihar, Balbir Singh, Pritam Chand, Darshan Singh, Krishan Lal, Babu Ram, Sandeep Sharma, Mohinder Singh, Vishav Singh besides others.
