JAMMU: With an aim to encourage civilians to come forward in thwarting nefarious designs of anti national forces and strengthen the security grid , the Jammu and Kashmir Police under the dynamic leadership of Director General of Police, RR Swain has announced various categories of cash rewards.
Ranging from Rs one lakh to 12,50,000, the prize amount will be awarded in seven categories. The civilians can share the information about tunnels, drugs, drones, terrorists, person encouraging anti national activities in educational institutions- place of worships and in touch with handlers of terrorists across the border.
The statement further reads that the person can share the information to concerned SSPs and identity of the samaritans will remain confidential.
