Setting a new bench mark in war against Narco Terrorism, the Samba Police under the dynamic leadership of SSP Benam Tosh so far arrested 40 Heroine suppliers in Four Months.
SAMBA : The police has achieved yet another success in its continue effort to break down network of narco terrorism in Samba District by arresting most wanted female heroin supplier “Bhabhi” operating who was involved in several NDPS cases.
The arrested female heroin supplier has been identified as Jano Bibi alias “Bhabhi” w/o Murad Ali r/o Sarore, Bari Brahmana and wanted in case FIR No. 73/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and other NDPS cases.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh has termed the arrest of “Bhabhi” “a major success” of Police on anti-drugs front and said that total forty (40) notorious narco-suppliers have been arrested by police in four months in district Samba after the launch of special drive against narco smugglers, suppliers and peddlers and several top narco-suppliers have been booked under relevant sections of law in different FIRs and Police raids are on to arrest them.
As per police communique, the arrested woman had been supplying heroin to the small distributors and addicted youth of Samba, Jammu, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar and used to collect heroin consignment from Punjab . Police was conducting raids to arrest “Bhabhi” at suspected hideouts but she was giving slip to Police and evading arrest. Finally, police succeeded in arresting her.
The notorious female supplier has been arrested by police team headed by Incharge Police Post SIDCO Samba Deepika Jalotra under the supervision of SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh, SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma, Deputy SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj and Additonal SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
