Vijaypur: Condemning shelling on civilian villages of Ramgarh, former Minister and JKPCC general secretary Manjit Singh today accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to deal with the border situation.
“Innocent people are being shelled and situation on borders have become like war has begin. The Union Government has failed completely to deal with the situation,” said Manjit Singh, who visited injured civilian who wounded in Pak firing at village Kesso (Ramgarh).
Former Minister Manjit Singh said that civilian have become the victims of the Pakistan’s brutality since defenseless people are being hit for no crime.
“Pakistan has crossed all limits and pounded civilian areas and damaged several houses in Ramgarh. Like Arnia, there is threat to their lives and the Government has not made any permanent arrangements for them,” he alleged.
Manjit Singh was concerned over the lives and property of the civilians living in Ramgarh border who have been confined to their houses in view of mortar shelling from Pakistan.
He said that the mortar shelling will not solve any problem. “Government of India must take come concert step with regard to daily cross firing across the International Border which has brought the normal life in border areas to stand still,” he said.
The failure of Modi Government is being faced by the innocent people on border, while the ‘paper tigers’ are sitting in their AC rooms.
“Time has come, when Modi Government has to take a final decision or it should step down on moral ground for their inability to save lives of the border residents,” he said and questioned why the five marla plots were not provided to the border residents which were promised to them in 2014 elections.
