SAMBA: Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh accompanied by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary and other officers on Sunday felicitated Probationary Sub Inspector (PSI ) Deepika Jalotra with certificate and cash reward for exhibiting exemplary bravery while arresting most wanted female heroin supplier “Bhabhi”.
PSI Deepika Jalotra, who is presently functioning as Incharge Police Post SIDCO Samba , on Friday all alone pounced upon and nabbed top woman supplier of Jammu division Jano Bibi code name “Bhabhi” who was roaming about along with four other young lady friends in Samba industrial area.
Coincidentally, PSI Deepika Jalotra was being escorted by none else when she suddenly came across most wanted smuggler and supplier of ‘chitta’ flanked by her four lady friends and without wasting time in waiting for other Police officials to come for her assistance, she all alone caught hold of young well-built lady smuggler “Bhabhi”and dragged her to Police Post SIDCO displaying exemplary gallantry.
In the scuffle that ensued, PSI Deepak Jalotra also sustained minor injury in her right arm but she fought all alone with five young ladies and achieved major success by arresting the enemy of society “Bhabhi” who is resident of Sarore Bari Brahmana and had been supplying heroin to the retail suppliers and addicts of Jammu, Samba, Udhampur, Kathua, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Pertinently, SSP Samba Benam Tosh has strategically deployed women Police officials in Samba district to counter the challenge posed by female heroin smugglers, suppliers, and peddlers so that the drug menace is eradicated once for all.
