    Police nabs 2 JMC employees for duping Yatris

    Old habits dies hard and this is what exactly two employees of Jammu Municipal Corporation have proven beyond doubt when they stoops on a misadventure to dupe pilgrims of Amarnath shrine.

    As per reports, the police station Trikuta Nagar received a written complaint from Ankush Sharma, nodal officer of Registration Centre, Vaishnavi Dham, Trikuta Nagar stating that some persons are charging money fraudulently from yatris/devotees in the name of token/registration at Vaishnavi Dham.

    Taking cognizance of complaint, the police immediately register FIR No 194/2022 u/s 420 IPC and started investigation.

    Two nab the fraudsters, the police constitutes special teams under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari. The team led by SHO PS Trikuta Nagar, Inspr Nayat Ali reached at the said place and rounded up two suspects namely Himanshu S/o Rinku R/o Valmiki Colony, Jammu (temporary JMC employee) and Harpal singh S/o Mukhtiayr Singh R/o Valmiki Colony Gandhi Nagar Jammu ( permanent JMC employee). Further investigation in the case is going on.
