SAMBA: With an aim to enhance the capabilities and tactics of SDRF personnel besides equipped then with latest tools and techniques, ninety days pre-promotion course commenced at PTTI Vijaypur.
The course was inaugurated by Shiv Kumar, IPS, Principal, PTTI Vijaypur. On the occasion, who he inspected parade of participating trainees.
While underline the significance of course, the Principal said that during training the participant cops would be imparted physical training, drill with and without arms, weapon handling and other routine activities as per prescribed syllabus.
He further asserted that SDRF is a force which has to remain prepared round the clock to respond immediately to any unforeseen natural calamities and thus it is necessary for SDRF personnel to remain updated with sophisticated rescue machinery and equipments for which special live demonstrations of experts will be organized during training so that they may perform their field duties more effectively.
