TEHRAN: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey have stepped up diplomatic efforts to prevent a renewed military confrontation involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
Senior officials from the three countries held high-level discussions with Iranian leadership in Tehran, seeking to ease regional tensions and revive diplomatic engagement.
The initiative comes amid fears of fresh military escalation and growing security risks across the Gulf. However, prospects for a breakthrough remain uncertain as military tensions continue to overshadow efforts for a negotiated settlement.
