Kargil: Deputy Commissioner and CEO Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil Vikas Kundal inaugurated 12-day induction training programme for frontline government functionaries of education department Kargil at DIET Complex here today.
The training programme sponsored by the Department of Personnel and Training Government of India has been organized by the Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD) Srinagar.
The DC, while underlining the importance of the training programme, expressed hope that it would help in capacity building and enhance the efficiency of functionaries at cutting edge level in discharge their duties.
He also hailed the efforts of (IMPARD) Srinagar in organizing the training programme in the district. He called upon the trainees to exude all out interest and involvement in the training programme adding it will promote the spirit of citizen centricity and good governance, motivation besides up-gradation of skills and knowledge.
Later, the DC also interacted with the trainees and expressed his good wishes for a successful training programme.
Pertinently, 40 Masters and Teachers from different schools of the district are participating in the training programme
Chief Education Officer Kargil Muhammad Mussa, Principal DIET Kargil TsewangPhunchok, Headquarter Assistant to DC Kargil Muhammad Shabir, Nodal Officer Training and District Coordinator SSA Kargil Gulzar Hussain Danish, trainees besides the teaching and non-teaching staff of DIET were present on the occasion.
