    Villagers hail Dr Jatiender Singh for macademisation of Latti-Duddo road

    UDHAMPUR: There is feeling of excitement among residents of Latti-Duddo in Chenani where road was macademised after 40 years. The locals of the area said that Chenani Latti-Duddo road was built in 1978 and never repaired since then.

    In 2017, road widening work was started but the contractor left the project incomplete with the result, it was difficult even to travel on this stretch.

    The public of the area has expressed gratitude to Union Minister of State in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, for his efforts in getting the blacktopping work started on this road.

    The macademisation was on Thursday begin in presence of Sarpanches, DDC and BDC members of block Chenani and Latti-Dudu and was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Indu Kanwal Chib.
