    16 from J&K crack UPSC Civil Services 2025

    Sixteen aspirants from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have secured a place in the final merit list of the prestigious Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, the results of which were declared on Friday.

    Among the successful candidates, Suvan Sharma from Jammu secured the highest rank from J&K with All India Rank (AIR) 148, followed by Towseef Ahmad Ganie from Anantnag (254) and Ritika from Jammu (456). Others who made it to the final list include Sooyash Shivam (Jammu), Muneeb Parrah (Pulwama), Ghulam Din (Rajouri), Dwarka Gaadhi (Jammu), Akash (Kathua), Dr. Koh-e-Safa (Mendhar), Yasaar (Baramulla), Abhishek (Jammu), Pankaj (Udhampur), Mohammad Ajaz (Kupwara), Azhar (Kulgam), Sarfraz (Budgam) and Irfan Ahmad Lone from Baramulla.

    This year, 958 candidates were recommended for appointment against various vacancies across central services.
