RAJOURI : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Dr. Devansh Yadav reviewed the functioning of Municipal Council Rajouri, with focus on sanitation, waste management and ongoing development works.
The DC directed officials to introduce an additional sanitation round during the day, particularly in commercial and high-footfall areas, besides routine morning cleaning.
Later, he inspected sanitation arrangements at the Old Bus Stand and checked shops and adjoining commercial establishments. He stressed proper upkeep and prevention of waste accumulation and indiscriminate dumping.
Officials informed the meeting that three new sites have been identified for waste disposal.
Dr. Yadav also directed the DSEO to physically verify completed development works, assess their quality and ensure satisfactory works are preserved.
He called for coordinated efforts to improve sanitation, strengthen waste management and maintain completed works. ADC Ravi Kumar Sihag, IAS Probationer Akash Garg and other officers attended.
