    NEET 2018 Counselling to begin on June 13 – here’s who all are eligible

    New Delhi: The long wait is over for students who appeared in NEET. Soon they can undergo counselling to choose their stream. The counselling schedule has been released by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its official website – mcc.nic.in.

    Here are the cut-off marks for each category:

    1) General – Candidates who’s scored a minimum of 50 percentile

    2) General (Physically Handicapped) – Candidates who’ve scored a minimum of 45 percentile

    3) SC/ST/OBC – Candidates who’ve scored a minimum of 40 percentile

    Eligibility of NEET 2018: 

    * Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRI’s), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s) & Foreign Nationals are eligible.

    * The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December, 2018 i.e. the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

    * The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission in MBBS/ BDS seats shall be 25 years as on the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and disabled category.

    The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.

    Here are the complete details of the NEET 2018 Counselling Schedule

    NEET 2018 Counselling Schedule: Round 1

    Registration, Choice Filling and Payment – 13th June 2018-18th June 2018 (5pm as per server time)

    Payment Facility will be available till 19th June 2018 (12 pm)

    Choice Filling/Locking 19th June 2018 (10 am to 5 pm as per server time)

    Processing of Seat Allotment – 20th June 2018-21st June 2018

    Result – 22nd June 2018

    Reporting – 23rd June 2018-3rd July 2018

    NEET 2018 Counseling Schedule: Round 2:

    Registration, Choice Filling and Payment – 6th July 2018-8th July 2018 (5pm as per server time)

    Payment Facility will be available till 9th July 2018 (12 Noon)

    Choice Filling/Locking – 9th July 2018 (10 am-5 pm as per server time)

    Processing of Seat Allotment – 10th July 2018-11th July 2018

    Result – 12th July 2018

    Reporting – 13th July-22nd July 2018

    NEET 2018 Counseling Schedule: Mop-Up Round:

    Display of Seat Matrix for Mop-up Round – 10th August 2018 to 11th August 2018Registration, Choice Filling and Payment – 12th August 2018 to 14th August 2018 (5pm as per server time)Payment Facility will be available till 15th August 2018 (12 Noon)

    Choice Filling/Locking – 15th August 2018 (10am-5pm as per server time)

    Processing of Seat Allotment – 16th August 2018

    Result – 17th August 2018

    Reporting – 18th August-26th August 2018

    Transfer of Non Reporting & Non Joining Vacant Seat to Deemed/Central Universities for Mop-up on 27th August 2018
