    VC JDA starts plantation drive in Muthi

    Jammu: Furthering ahead mission ”Green Jammu, Clean Jammu’, the Jammu Development Authority today launched plantation drive in Muthi area.

    Planting saplings in JDA Park, Muthi, Vikas Sharma- Vice Chairman  while underlying the importance of plants in maintaining ecological balance on earth has urged upon the people to actively support afforestation in their surrounding habitats.

    Highlighting ill effects of environment change, he impressed upon the society to implement the slogan of ‘Each one, Plant’ in letter and spirit so as to nurture a better and healthy environment for our future generations.

    The drive was carried with the active support of State Forest Research Institute. The officers of JDA who were present on the occassion includes Narinder Kour, Director Land Management, Rakesh Gupta, Secretary, Ajay Bharti, Shruti Bhardwaj, Novel Deep Kour and Samridhi Sharma (Tehsildar).
