Jammu: All clerical cadre staff of state department under the banner of All Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh Clerical Cadre Association (AJKLCSA) today began three days pen down strike in support of their long pending demands.
On day one, as per the statement issued by the coordination committee Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh, the clerical staff belonging to the various state departments protest against the recent statement of Finance Minister in a television interview wherein he has categorically refused to remove the pay anomalies of clerical cadre with the implementation of 7th Pay Commission and the state government for failing in implementing its agreement for removal of pay anomalies.
While addressing the clerical cadre at Panamka Chowk, Babu Hussain Malik condemned the anti employees policies of the state government for not implementing agreements carried out between the state government and AJKLCSA
They added that instead of issuing orders, the government authorities had delayed the things. The Pay Anomaly Committee submitted its report regarding the pay anomalies of Home Department and Revenue Department but ignored the Clerical Cadre.
They further added that the clerical cadre is the backbone of the state administration and are working from dawn to dusk with full integrity and dedication and are performing multiple tasks and are under mental and physical stress as they remain at the disposal of the officers even beyond office hours.
Unfortunately, our contribution is always ignored and genuine issues of clerical cadre have always been sidelined and clerical cadre has been treated as bonded labourers and given step motherly treatment.
The coordination committee thanked the district committee for making Kaam Choro Hartal complete successful in all the district headquarter and assured them full support in all the future agitations.
