    Dr Vinod Kumar assumes charge as DIG NKR

    Dr Vinod Kumar on Friday assumed charge as Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range, Baramulla, at the Range Police Headquarters in Baramulla.

    He succeeds Maqsood-ul-Zaman, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General, Armed Police, Kashmir.

    After assuming office, Dr Kumar reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring dedicated, transparent and corruption-free policing in the region. Stressing the importance of public trust, he expressed confidence in further strengthening police-public relations while maintaining peace and law and order across the Range.
