    Gandhi Nagar Police arrests 2 drug peddlers, recovers 500gm heroin with 2 lakh cash

    Jammu: Furthering tightening it’s a screw against drug mafia, the Gandhi police today arrested two drug peddlers along with  500 gm of heroin with recovery of Rs two lakh.

    As per reports, the police party from Gandhinagar Police station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO, Insp Sunil Jasrotia during naka checking at Valmiki Chowk Gandhi Nagar today stoped one Santro Car bearing No. JK05B/2236 for checking.

    The driver of the car  identified as Mohd Shafi, S/o Ghulam Mohi Din, R/o Ghosia Colony, Azad Ganj, Baramulla and his associate as Darshan Lal, R/o Chack Ram Singh, Hatli Morh, Kathua.

    During search 500 gm of heroin was recovered from their possession along with cash of Rs 2 lakhs.

    In relation to this, FIR No. 143/2019 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Gandhinagar, accused arrested and investigation has been initiated.
