    Police raid homes of Journalists in Kashmir

    SRINAGAR: The cops of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday morning raided residences of four journalists in Kashmir.

    The scribes whose home were raided includes Showkat Ahmad Matta son of Abdul Samad, editor of Kashmir Narrator magazine and Azhar Qadri son of Farooq Qadri, a resident of Abubaker Colony Bemina. Qadri is said to be working for many national as well as international news organisations.

    The residence of Abbas Shah was raided by SP East along with a police team and Hilal Mir working for TRT Turkey earlier associated with Greater Kashmir was also searched by the police.

    Though the police have yet not released any statement on these raids, however sources in police said these raids are being conducted pertaining to a FIR registered  in connection with Kashmir Fight blog case registered at Police Station Kothibagh.
