    Sensex drops 1.1 %, Nifty slump 1.3%

    MUMBAI: At the stock markets, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 652 points, or 1.1 percent, to close at 59,646, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange slipped 198 points, or 1.3 percent, to 17,759.
