Jammu: ACF Aseem, IFS, on Saturday inspected Raika Forest and reviewed the ongoing chain-link fencing work aimed at securing forest land and preventing fresh encroachments.
Accompanied by Range Officer Wajid Rafiqi, field staff and personnel of the Forest Protection Force, she also supervised the eviction of remaining encroachers from the area identified for fencing, clearing the stretch for uninterrupted execution of the project.
During the field visit, Aseem also participated in a pledge ceremony to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Boundary pillars were also installed in Sunjwan Forest to strengthen demarcation and protection of forest land.
