    JKNPP condemns brutal murder of nurse at SMVD hospital

    Udhampur:The JKNPP held an urgent meeting of its Women Wing at Jammu under the chairmanship of Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary of the Party expressing grave concern on the kind of insecurity of the working employees (a nurse this time) who was brutally killed by her throat slit a day before.

    Anita Thakur expressing shock on the most tragic murder of a working nurse of a hospital run by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Hospital at Katra. The women committee of the Panthers Party in a resolution demanded a judicial probe into this gruesome murder without any delay and take appropriate action against the murderers who have shocked the conscious of millions of people who come from all over the country and even from abroad to pay homage in the Darbar of Mata Vaishno Devi. The resolution also conveyed sympathies with the family of the nurse murdered in the SMVD hospital.
    Ms. Anita Thakur said that a representation has been sent to N.N. Vohra, the Governor of J&K who is also the Chairman of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine which is running the said hospital in Katra (District Reasi) in Jammu province.
