    Army organizes summer educational camp for youth

    Nowshera:Army organised a Summer Educational Camp spread over five days from 14 – 19 July 2018 for youth of villages adjoining Kalal, Nowshera to promote bonhomie and harmony among the students.

    The event consisted of activities such as trekking, horse riding, treasure hunt, drawing & painting, yoga, tent pitching, Infantry small arms display, games, survival skill training and a talent show including debate competition, skit, songs, dance and play. Each activity of the summer camp was enthusiastically participated and enjoyed by the students belonging to the age group of 12-18 years. The plethora of events of summer camp gave the students a unique opportunity not only to enjoy the pristine nature and scenic beauty of Kalidhar forest, but also kindled the spirit of adventure through events like horse riding, treasure hunt, tent pitching & survival skill training.

    The parents of these children were invited at the culmination of the Summer Camp. Children were felicitated for all events competitions at the closing ceremony of the camp.  The parents were filled with joy on seeing the happiness in the eyes of their children applauded the efforts of the army for the youth and the Awaam.
