NEW DELHI: Three people, a gangster among them, were killed in a firing at a court in Rohini. In heavy exchange of firing several people, including a woman advocate, were wounded, police said.
Delhi Police said that the assailants, who police said belonged to ‘Tillu gang’, were dressed like advocates. Police also said that the attackers have been “neutralised” in police firing.
Police said Gogi, who was arrested in April under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act by Delhi Police Special Cell, was shot dead by his rivals while he was being brought to court.
Some 30-40 rounds of bullets were shot, police said.
Gogi’s has 19 cases of murder, attempted murder, extortion and dacoity against him.
