JAMMU: Demanding resignation of UP Chief Minister Adityanath Singh Yogi for burning pyres of Hathras rape victim in barbarian manners and against the established Hindu rituals, the JKPCC today held strong protest demonstration and burn the effigies of PM Narinder Modi and CM Yogi.
Raising slogans against the PM as well as CM, the agitated Congress workers led by it’s General Secretary and former minister Yogesh Sawhney lambasted the silence of Prime Minister of India as well as Chief Minister of UP over the brutal rape and death of a Dalit girl in Hathras district.
The way dalit rape victim’s body was disrespectfully burnt with kerosene oil in mid of night by forcefully locking her family has not only add shame to our land Bharat Mata but expose hollow claims of PM’ Modi ‘Beti Bachaou, Beti Padaou’.
Where are those women leaders of BJP who shed crocodile tears over accidental death of an animals but now silence on horrible rape and death of dalit girl, asked Sawhney.
The statement of CM Yogi that PM has asked him to dealt strictly with the rapists and subsequent announcement of SIT is not only condemndable but also add insult to the soul of the deceased rape victim, said Sawhney.
What as CM of UP Mr Yogi was doing for the last sixteen day, questioned Sawhney.
He further said that the Congress will fight tooth and nail untill all accuseds hanged and bring before public the real face of BJP.
