    IMPACT: JK Bank to scrap non domicile CFO appointment

    JAMMU: Reacting to the news item  carried by JK Global New on Sunday dated 24/04/2020, the CMD J&K Bank R.K. Chibber has clarified that the appointment of non domicile candidate namely Satya Narayan Gupta for the post of CFO in the bank has been put on hold.

    Stating that the process for yet-to-be-formally-confirmed appointment of non domicile candidate for the post of CFO was started before the introduction of the recent domicile law and as of now the appointment has been put on hold after keeping in view the interests of the domicile candidates of the UTs of J&K and Ladakh, and would be reviewed accordingly.

    Notably the bank has also re-advertised the post of Managing Director where applications have been invited only from eligible domicile candidates of the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
