Jammu: Taking serious note of yesterday undesired development wherein attached CEO Nirmal Choudhary has leveled serious allegations of life threats and harassment against District Magistrate Rohit Khajuria, the education authorities has removed Aruna Sharma from the post of CEO Kathua besides also detach her predecessor Nirmal Choudhary from the office of DM Kathua and posted him as CEO Reasi.
As per the order No 732, Edu of 2018 dated 05-06-2018, issued by Farooq Ahmad, Secretary School Education-Aruna Sharma has been replaced by Bishan Singh as CEO Kathua. Whereas, Nirmal Choudhary who was attached last month by District Magistrate Rohit Khajuria on flimsy grounds has been detached from the DM office and posted as CEO Reasi.
According to highly placed sources, the school education authorities was annoyed over the way CEO Kathua Nirmal Choudhary was first attached by DM Kathua Rohit Khajuria in hush hush manner and later publically abused and hurled with life threats as reported by JK Global News.
“Recent developments was undermining the sanctity of the CEO office and the way some person flaunting their political clout has made CEO office as their personal fiefdom and play ground for self styled political leader, the higher authorities today took the decision to transfer the incumbent CEO Kathua Aruna Sharma who was last month given charge of CEO by DM despite the fact she still not a confirmed principal and interestingly stands far below in seniority list of plus 2 lecturers, said a senior officer of school education department preferring anonymity.
Removal of Aruna Sharma from CEO chair and detachment of Nirmal Choudhary from DM office and his further posting as CEO Reasi is a clear indication that there is no substance in charges leveled against Nirmal Choudhary which led to his attachment by district magistrate, he further said.
